I’ve been a customer at Adams Automotive for over 3 years now. My vehicle is a 2002 truck with nearly 100k miles. I’m not interested in buying a new vehicle, so it’s important to me to keep her maintained. I come in regularly for oil changes and tire rotations. Today was the same, but also state inspection. The team always does a visual inspection and let’s me know about potential problems. I waited for the work to be performed and a first time customer was waiting also. We got to talking and he asked me how long I’ve been a customer and also asked if I recommend Adams. I said absolutely! I said my ex husband has a car repair business, and when first coming to Adams, I’d run problems by him and costs I should expect, just for my peace of mind. I told the man that I’d rather keep my old truck maintained than pay a high car payment every month. Hopefully, he’ll become a new regular customer at Adams! Since my vehicle is so old, I have a list from Terrence that I intend to start whittling down after the holidays. Thanks so much for your continued excellent service and your fun and professional staff! And apologies for being so long winded. I could still go on and on! Thank you again!!
Awesome! We thank you so much Mrs. Hobbs!! As the saying goes “it’s cheaper to keep her”... you’re SO very right! Most people do not know that sales tax on a new car can easily reach $3000 plus the depreciation on the car the moment it’s driven off the lot plus all the payments plus the depreciation for the first year of driving plus the car needs repairs and maintenance also. Ouch! They just said goodbye to almost $17,000 believe it or not. If you must make a vehicle purchase I would always recommend getting a nearly new car to avoid most of this expense. That is why I still have my 85 Chevy pick up I bought new. I still have my 2001 suburban my 2005 suburban that we use as our shuttle my 2005 Escalade which I drive daily and my 2008 Chevy suburban which I gave to my newly graduated son from UT and my wife drives a 2014 Escalade that we bought with 28,000 miles on it it was perfect it had a one owner that was the wife of an oil company president in Kansas and the dealership drove it to me last year it has been wonderful to have a “new“ car without the tremendous expense that I spoke of. Anyway I just want to say thanks again for your business we’ll always do our very best to serve you as you know we have a great team of guys to help you. God bless you. Perry Adams
